An angel's wish

by Mary Kingsley

A Historical Romance Christmas Story David Fairfax, Marquess of Stowe, has been estranged from his ex-wife, Tess, since before the birth of their daughter Jennie. Jennie has lived with him in London since her birth and he has denied his wife any access to her since that time. Tess lives with her brother in Yorkshire, close to Stowcroft, one of her ex-husband’s properties. This year Jennie’s one and only Christmas wish is to see her mother. After an initial refusal, her father relents, organising a house party at Stowcroft. One of his guests is the woman he is planning to marry.
