Sew a Circle of Friends
Remember when you were a child, and your dolls made up a family, a neighborhood, even a magic kingdom? Make a whole village of stuffed animals and cloth dolls - make them, and then sew clothes for them. The patterns for the clothes are easy to follow and just right for each doll and animal. So are the charming faces and props. Start with Sunflower, the garden lady, with her sunbonnet, sundress, gardener's apron, miniature tools, and, of course, some brightly colored sunflowers. Everybody will love Harriet the Bunny, complete with furry paws and rabbit ears, a whiskery nose, and even her own pumpkin patch you make out of clay. Then there's Sadie and her sewing-circle friends, with their collection of tiny potted flowers, books, canned vegetables, birdhouses, and all the other things they like to chat about.
