by Cheryl Wolverton

Angelina gets a call from her brother for help, a brother she hasn’t seen since for ten years--not since she visited him in Australia, a place he had gone to be a missionary. So she heads off to see him, but is intercepted at the airport and climbs into a waiting car. Once in the car she realizes these are not men sent by her brother, but men who are intent on killing her.She manages to escape and hijack a national park reserve officer and his jeep. David Lemming has left a past full of hurt and pain after he got saved. He is very happy doing the job he is doing while he waits for God’s direction. But God’s direction wasn’t having a woman kidnap him and shoot at the vehicle she just fell out of…was it?Maybe she is there because he has been sent to help her.The story that follows is a suspenseful tale of intrigue and desperation. Angelina finds out her brother is missing, the reason is because he has information about someone who is planning to kill the First Lady. She has to find her brother before he is killed, before the killer strikes the President’s wife..and before she herself is killed. And while she is doing that, David teaches her that God is in control and if she’ll let go of her bitter past and find peace, she might just survive. Will she ultimately have to choose between her life and the First Lady’s...is she ready to face her maker?
