Valis
VALIS follows Horselover Fat, a schizophrenic who receives visions from a pink light that depict an alternate Earth ruled by the Roman Empire. He struggles to determine whether his experiences are madness or revelations from a godlike entity. The novel ends with questions about reality, fiction, and the cost of divine insight.
