Circus days again
Life is never dull for Jimmy and his performing dog Lucky, and Lotta with her horse Black Beauty, as they continue their travels with Mr Galliano's Circus. There are fresh faces and adventures in store as a number of exciting new acts join the circus: talking parrots, a performing seal, three more clowns and the brilliant yet forbidding conjuror Britomart. But then Mrs Galliano falls seriously ill and needs to go away with Mr Galliano to recuperate, leaving the circus in the hands of Britomart as its new ringmaster. Before long, more and more of the circus folk find they can stand his cold-hearted rule no longer and are talking of leaving. Jimmy and Lotta are devastated, but what can they do? Is this the end for Galliano's Circus?
