Minnie and Moo meet Frankenswine
From AudioFile From atop a hill in the midst of a horrific storm, Minnie and Moo help flustered barn animals solve a mystery. What was in the barn? Is the farmer still alive? Is the word of the local rooster trustworthy? Barbara Caruso narrates to perfection. She moves handily from narrator to cow heroine to distraught barn dweller. She is demure as the young pig, blustery as the feisty turkey, and unflappable as the Holstein. Pauses and silence heighten the stormy, spooky mood and underscore the personalities and responses of the critters. Sound effects are superb.
