Oscar Wilde's The picture of Dorian Gray
Dorian does not want to grow older, so he asks that a portrait of himself ages while he remains young. It works. This unending youth, however, brings about the worst in Dorian. Although he stays young, his portrait ages and reveals the true ugliness of his character.
