The narrative is a chronological series of tales in Pelham’s life, showing this natural leader, dreaming artist, joyful clown, and champion of the underdog. The stories will include his perceptive description of his actions in WWI as he rose to be a Brigadier General, his skillful handling of the 1932 Bonus March when he was Superintendent of Police in Washington, D.C. Retiring to Laguna Beach, California, he was able to further display his artistic talents while continuing his humanistic endeavors.
