World Drama
A thorough introduction to drama that provides a selection of plays from the Greeks to modern drama. For each of the 18 plays featured, an introduction places the play in a historical and critical context. Also included are three major essays, "Drama and its Structure", "Form in Drama" and "Drama in Classical Greece", which provide background for analysis of the plays.
