Achievement Habit
Bernard Roth teaches at Stanford and helped found the d.school, and this book turns design thinking on the reader's own life. The arguments that stick are that reasons are usually excuses, that nothing is what you think it is until you decide what it means, and that trying is a way of not doing. It is exercise-led, drawn from a course he has taught for decades, and closer to applied philosophy than to a productivity manual.
