Cupid's error

by Brenda Trent

SHOT THROUGH THE HEART Being stranded in a strange city with no job, no car and no money didn't faze Desha Smith. The stars had sent help in the very handsome, if somewhat conservative, form of Bryce Gerrard. Bryce cursed the day he took pity on Desha. Unfortunately for him, she never accepted pity or charity and decided instead to help him by "modernizing" his mother's traditional clothing shop, Southern Elegance. To top it off, he was becoming attracted to the flamboyance and vitality of this wacky, headstrong woman. But he was all pinstripes, and she was a walking rainbow. Had Cupid really missed his target this time?
