How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World Reissue edition by Browne, Harry

by Harry Browne

In 1973 Harry Browne published a book based on Libertarian ideas. “Most of the rest of the world will remain unfree during the rest of your life. Most people will continue to lead what Thoreau called "lives of quiet desperation” [Such as] paying high taxes, bowing to social pressures, working long hours with little to show for them, never having the time to do what they want to do, resigning themselves to loveless compromises that masquerade as marriages.” Mr. Browne takes these ideas and gives his solution to the issues. He was also the Libertarian candidate for President in 1996 and 2000.
