See your reading year
The new Reading Stats page, a share card for every stat, and a few more things we just shipped.
Your reading has been quietly adding up. Every book you finish, every rating you leave, every day you turn a few pages. Until now most of that just lived in your shelves. This update pulls it into one place you can actually look at.
Your reading, in one place
Open ChapterPals, go to your Books tab, and tap Reading stats. It is all there:
- The genres you actually reach for, as a clean donut.
- How you rate, shown as the honest shape of your ratings, not just an average.
- Your most-read authors, with their covers.
- Your reading streak, as a ring you can watch grow.
- Your whole year as a wall of the covers you read, one square per reading day.
Nothing to set up. If you imported from Goodreads or StoryGraph, your history is already counted.
Every stat is a share card
Next to any stat is a Share button. Tap it and you get a preview first, so you always see the card before it goes anywhere. Then post it, save it, or send it to a friend. Your genres, your year, your streak, your reader card. No design work, and it looks good.
A few more things we just shipped
- Buy the book in a tap. Every book now has a Bookshop link, so you can pick up your next read and support an independent bookstore at the same time.
- Series, in order. Series pages show every book in reading order and quietly mark the ones you have already read, so you always know what is next.
- See who recommended it. When a pal sends you a book, their name comes with it. A recommendation should feel like it came from a person, not an algorithm.
And under the hood: the app is faster and steadier, book covers look better, and importing your library is smoother than ever.
