Audiobooks on the book page
Book pages now tell you when a title is an audiobook, who reads it, how long it runs, and where to listen.
A lot of us read with our ears now, and the app used to be quiet about it. That has changed.
When a book has an audiobook, its page says so. If it also comes in print, you will see an "Also an audiobook" line. If it was made for listening in the first place, the page leads with "Audiobook." Either way, we tell you who narrates it, how long it runs, whether it is abridged, and who published it, with links to listen on Spotify and Apple Books.
Search and your shelves picked up a small marker too: a little headphones icon on any title that has an audiobook, so you can spot them at a glance.
We are also starting to add listen-first books that never had a home in our catalog. If you went looking for something like Bound or Unbound and came up empty before, look again. There are not many yet, and more arrive as we go.
Nothing new to learn. Your books just say a little more about how to hear them.
